This coffee table is made from incredible bookmatched Black Limba, a beautiful hardwood found in Tropical West Africa, featuring amazing grain and color variation on a single board. This set features a unique sapwood edge narrowing along the length of the table, complemented by the light yellowish to golden brown colors, all topped with a uniform curl. A real one of a kind table.
The bookmatched layout means the two halves mirror each other to create symmetry. Across the entire top is a gorgeous natural curly chatoyance offering a stunning shiny wave effect.
The base is solid aspen stained black to accompany the Black Limba and keep the focus on the top.
The table is finished with a Hard Wax Oil and a topcoat of a Satin Polyurethane for added water and scratch resistance.
