Unique Sofa Table made from Spalted Maple. This Maple was a heavily spalted slab that I cut to size and reinforced with penetrating epoxy. Because spalted maple can have soft and punky areas, using penetrating epoxy will harden the wood. Once the epoxy cured, cracks were filled with black epoxy, the surface was sanded and the entire table was finished with 4 coats of Polyurethane. The top is attached to sleek matte black Hairpin legs.

This table is 100% solid hardwood. Sourced and handcrafted in Minnesota. It makes a great entryway table, console table, media table or sofa table.
