Stunning chessboard made with Spalted Maple, dark blue epoxy and Walnut. The maple end grain squares were individually glued to a 1/4” MDF base. The spaces between each square was filled with a dark blue epoxy. A Walnut veneer was added to the underside of the MDF base to match the border.
